The farm is easily accessed from the Bloomsburg exit of Interstate 80, ten miles north on SR 487, and 1.5 miles east of Forks on Winding Road. The nearest major town is Bloomsburg, 10 miles to the south, and both Philadelphia and New York City are within a 3-hour drive.

Agricultural & Farming Facts:

  • Approximately half the farm is fenced and used for pasture, while the other half is forestland.

  • The fields and silvo-pastures have been managed since 1992 for grass-fed, chemical-free meat production including 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured poultry (chicken, turkeys, and layer hens), and woodlot pork.

  • Pastures are fenced and cross fenced with Hi-tensile, electric fencing. There are two pasture water systems with 3100’ of PVC water pipe, 11 quick-attach hydrants, two frost-free hydrants, and three frost-free livestock waterers.

  • The woodland has been managed for hardwood and softwood sawtimber, firewood, on-farm lumber production, shitake mushrooms, wildlife habitat, hunting and walking, and riparian buffers.

Additional Information:

  • The farm has multiple springs, streams, Huntington Creek, and two drilled wells.

  • Huntington Creek flows along the southern boundary of the farm for 2900’. It is a free stone creek with bass and trout, eagles, kingfishers, and ducks. It is stocked with trout by the PA Fish Commission on the farm.

  • We will be selling the equipment used for the farm’s enterprises as well as the Forks Farm Market business either with the farm or separately.

  • A private camping grove along Huntington Creek has been used by friends of the farm since its inception. There is a fire pit, swimming hole, wooded campsites, an outhouse, and an open area for recreational use.

  • The farm is located less than a mile from State Game Lands 55 (2500 acres), Fishing Creek 1.5 miles to the west and the Endless Mountains twenty miles to the north with Rickets Glenn State Park, State Game Lands 13 (49,000 ac.), State Game Lands 57 (36,000 ac), and the Loyalstock State Forest (28,000 ac) provide ample opportunity for outdoor activities.
